✈️ Day 1: Travel from Amsterdam to Pello Flight*: Take a morning flight from Amsterdam Schiphol to *Kemi (KEM) * or *Rovaniemi (RVN) **. Kemi is closer (around 2 hours away), while Rovaniemi is about 3 hours by road. Guidance by experienced guides from Naamisuvanto or other professionals by invitation. You will learn techniques such as 45° drifting, stripping and flight selection. You're fishing for Atlantic salmon, including a chance for trout, pike, graysalmon or wallepers. \ *Technology & Equipment: * Use of two-handed salmon rods (13—16 ft, class 9—11), with changing zinc/flotation lines depending on the season. Heavy sinklines early in the season, later switching to powertrains. Popular patterns include: Green Highlander, Red Butt, The Usual. The guides provide all the equipment: boats, rods, lines, boots — and often boat cameras for spectacular captures. \ \ *Daily Schedule: * 08:00 Breakfast 09:00 — 12:00 Morning riverside session 12:00 — 13:00 Lunch break on the shore 13:00 — 17:00 Afternoon session on a new part 17:00 — 18:30 Dinner (at lodge or local restaurant) 19:00 — 22:00 Evening/night session during the midnight sun 🌅 Day 5: Last Fishing Session & Departure Morning session — a quiet end to the week.
